For A Mark Between Thine Eyes

Diving straight into the text in Exodus, we find the passage putting into ordinance the feast of unleavened bread, (the passover) within which we have the verses:

Exo 13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD’s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.
Exo 13:10 Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.
Exo 13:11 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,
Exo 13:12 That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the LORD’s.
Exo 13:13 And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.
Exo 13:14 And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
Exo 13:15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.
Exo 13:16 And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt. (KJV)

The divine token upon the eyes and the hands of the nation of Israel is used as a figure of the establishment of their faith (as released from bondage in Egypt and into freedom under God in the land that He would give to them in the account.) The cornerstone of their faith is this release from bondage - the freedom and inheritance of God's promises to Abraham are given them if they hold true to God's laws. The exodus from Egypt is the defining moment in the account, that identifies the Israelites as God's people of the old covenant. They are to recount that it is the Lord's doing that they are become a nation and have had that identity as His people.

Verses 9 and 16 show that the keeping of the ordinances of the Lord define their doings, (as a token in the hand) and their exodus and release from bondage should be the establishment of their faith, (as a token in their foreheads.) The people are marked out as separate from other nations if they continue to hold both of these cornerstones intact. cf. verse 12.

The new testament teaches that Jesus Christ is God Himself, and that as the Israelites crossed over to Sinai and were led in the wilderness and drank water from the rock, they were baptised into Christ and were all partakers of the spiritual rock that is Christ. Whether they were aware of it or not, they were marked out as the "church in the wilderness" (although "assembly" is the better comparison than 'church'.)

Likewise the New Testament teaches that Christ came only to those lost sheep of the house of Israel, into which also the greater assembly of gentiles are translated. Christ's work on the cross is indeed similarly a mark of faith in our foreheads - the seal of the living God, whereas to the hand, we are not justified by our own works of the law or OT ordinances, they are absent here, yet faith without works is dead. The epistle states "Show me your faith without works and I will show you my faith by my works."

We then see that the mark of the beast upon the right hand or forehead is the establishment of the approved church by the state, or the integration of the laws of the state into and over the churches. (Presumably by the process of incorporation for inclusion.) The keeping of the laws of man and the accepted doctrine of the politically correct are marks of the beast in the right hand or forehead, when a church receives corporate status as just another money changer masquerading as a servant of God.

When a church comes into conflict with the state, it is a matter of the state's law and not of the Lord's. When a church considers itself free to worship it is at the behest of the state, and when matters of property are decided it is on the basis of the laws of the state. Doctrine is truthfully not a matter of seeking after approval from the state, but in regulating the church, so is doctrine regulatedand the churches are under the thumb of the state because extremism is to "be controlled" by processing the church as any other legal entity - in the case of conflict with the state, the state by virtue of its regulation over incorporated bodies declares it "owns" not just the balance sheet but all the doctrine of the church and can step in to remove it if necessary.

So, do the churches find freedom gifted by God for approval by the beast? Not if they are under the state. If there is a sure way to unincorporate it has yet to be found - believers are better off just leaving and never returning back to their former churches.

The mark of the beast then is what? It is the ongoing process of the sustaining influence of the state within the church that causes every religion and corporate body to become one entity in law under the same process. The "life" given to the image by the false prophet is in this same process of the dialectic which makes all religions equally viable under 'worldly' law under the process of the image. In integrating religious bodies into the state system, they must engage the state in a worldly form.

Likewise the bearing of the mark of the beast to a church is to offer the chruch inclusion into the collective of the mainstream "Church", already under the image. The process of dialogue known to be 'the dialectic' ensures the processing of the church to be enjoined to the beast. It ensures that the individuals on joining the collective then have the approval (the 'name' as a token) of the beast and have the number of the beast (as in the process of 666 used to obtain the necessary consensus to join the collective.) Further membership of the church by the believer is to effectively give the image the worship due God, as God has left them for those that obey Him. The enjoined church then furthers the process as the scarlet beast by bearing the mark elsewhere to enjoin others. It is primarily a seduction process.

This process on appearance may seem innocuous but in bringing after the manner of the world our way of doing business and worldly pursuits into the body of Christ it did switch out that simple temple of God and replaced it with the image of the world (the beast), all the while the church has become another business and the true status of the temple has vanished with those sentient enough to leave and take it with them.

The process of the dialectic or the image is designed to keep this state-church-collective system apart from God, forcing Him to leave it in disgust.

Mat 13:15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. (KJV)

Without splitting hairs, while the image is in place the christians will not be able to stand confidently before God, and their every effort using the process plants another milepost between them and Christ. The process creates its own problem and can not be discontinued, although it seems to be lively, (seeming right to a man) and more so than others of the world because it is supposedly "cost free monetarily" but it costs more souls than it saves.
